GP Placings for Kiwis on Both Sides of Atlantic
Sharn Wordley has enjoyed some success at the CSI2* 2020 Tryon Fall 3 Show in North Carolina, in the United States at the weekend.
He and his Oldenburg gelding Casper placed sixth in the $73,000 CSI2* Tryon Resort Grand Prix. Fifty-two took on the Catalina Cruz (MEX) designed course, with 17 coming back for the jump-off. The class was won by Adam Prudent aboard Baloutinue with a double clear in 38.67 seconds with Sharn and Casper also all clean in 41.48 seconds.
Earlier in the show, Sharn bagged two 1.40m wins with Helios Prime, and a second with Emma-Lee in the 1.35m.
On the Sunshine Tour in Spain, Bruce Goodin and Backatorps Danny were 13th in the 44-strong 1.50m Grand Prix which was won by Pedro Veniss (BRA) aboard Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior.
Earlier in the show, Bruce and Danny placed third in the 1.45m Big Class B which was won by James Wilson (GBR) aboard Galway Bay Jed and attracted 42 entries. Bruce teamed up with Collin M to place seventh in the 1.4m Big Class A which was won by Kayleigh Watts (GBR) on Kimosa Van Het Kritrahof.
