Prague Proves Challenging for Kiwis

A technical and challenging 1.5m Grand Prix course wrapped up competition at the CSIO3* in Prague this morning.

Tom Tarver and Popeye were the best of the Kiwi jumpers, finishing in 26th place of the 60-strong field with a single rail down. Lily Tootill and Ulysses NZPH and Daniel Meech aboard Cinca 3 had eight faults apiece.

Nine combinations were eliminated or opted to retire from the class which was won by Gudrun Patteet (BEL) aboard Sea Coast Kashmira Z who was double clear in 41.85 seconds. Fifteen came back for the second round with the top eight were all double clear.

Daniel and Dominick placed eighth in the 1.45m faults and time class with their clear 72.66 second effort. The 67-strong class was won by Pius Schwizer (SUI) aboard Cortney Cox in 67.52 seconds. The courses were designed by Uliano Vezzani (ITA).
