Together with the Springbush Horse Trials Committee, ESNZ Eventing is pleased to announce that an event will be run at Springbush in Hunua, Papakura, as a Land Rover Horse of the Year replacement with classes at CCI3*-S and CCI4*-S on the weekend of 12-13 March 2022.

This pop-up event is the brainchild of a small group of people who saw the need for upper level competition following the cancellation of LRHOY 2022 and the Puhinui International Three Day Event in March.

March is the start of key competition time for upper level eventers, and with the cancellation of these two key north island events, as well as the CCI4*-S class in Christchurch, there was going to be very few opportunities for top combinations to compete.

This event will provide a much-needed run for the combinations targeting the National One Day Champs at Barge Park in April, the NZ Three Day Event Championships at Taupo in May and ultimately the Oceania Senior and Young Rider Teams event in Melbourne in June.

Entries will open on Evo Events soon and will close on 7 March.
